How to Reduce Regional Brain Drain Caused by Human Capital Flow?An Analysis from Real Option Perspective
Human Resource is the core drive of regional economic growth.However the future gain of human resource investment is quite uncertain which shares many similarities as real assets.Since human resource is closely attached to an individual,there exist great risks of regional brain drain due to high rate of human capital flow.While the real option theory is basically used as a strategic tool to manage investment risks of real assets,this paper tries to apply real option theory to build up human resource flow option.It provides the thought that regional government and enterprises should enforce human resource management strategies and practices which match well with different typcs of human resource to form human resource capital flow options for future RHRD and management.These HR capital flow options will effectively reduce regional brain drain with a reasonable rate of human resources capital flow.
