The Effects of Health and Education on China’s Regional Economic Disparity:Empirical Analysis
Paper discusses the effects of health and education on China’s regional economic disparity in the growth regression framework.By established the cross-section data model and the panel data model,paper discovers that China’s economic growth hash’t the βconvergence,but it has the significant“club convergencecharacter.The initial human capital have the positive significant effects to economic growth,and the health capital have higher effects than that of the education;The education capital within the east,west and central areas has significant effects on the economic growth.The health capital has significant effects within the central and west areas,but it hash’t the significant effects within the east area due to the aging of population.The convergence rate of the west economy is rapid.While the accumulation of human capital make the west economy beneficial to overtake the east.
