W-Type Hexaferrites Applied in Broadband Electromagnetic Wave Absorbers
Spinel ferrites and hexaferrties have been researched and applied in electro-magnetic wave absorbers for several decades. However, the prevenient researches only reported electromagnetic characteristics or absorption performances of some materials in certain frequency bands, which is usually from dozens of MHz to 18 GHz. Utilizing commercial raw materials, in terms of industrialization of some W-type hexaferrites and their composites, this article reports possible applications of them as electromagnetic wave absorbers in the frequency range from 2 GHz to 40GHz.
