Novel Microstrip Ferrite Coupled Wiggly-line Circulator
Coupled wiggly-line is proposed as an alternative to conventional ferrite parallel uniform coupled-line section in a longitudinally-magnetized ferrite coupled-line (FCL) circulator design. The simulated performances of these novel FCL circulators are presented for the first time. Compared to the conventional FCL circulator, a 20% length reduction and a broadband performance are achieved using our proposed structure.
