Preparation of KNW45 Type Ferrite Material Used in High DC-Bias and Wide Range of Temperature
This ferrite material is prepared by conventional method. The major compoents are selected in constant permeability area of the Fe2O3-MnO-ZnO ternary composing chart. A small quantity of additives such as CaO, Nb2O5, V2O5 and Co2O3 etc. is added for the improvement of electromagnetic characteristics and their temperature characteristics. Samples are sintered in the equilibrium oxygen atmosphere. The material has good characteristics of temperature and DC-Bias in a wide range of temperature (from-40℃~85℃). The increment permeabilityμΔ of all the samples is higher than 3000 when the DC-Bias is 30A/m. Furthmore, the material has low THDF characteristics in a wide range of frequency. The THDF is less than -127dB when used in the conditions of 10kHz and 5mT. Its impedance exceeds 40Ω,/mm at 1.8MHz.
