Tape Casting of Ferrite and Dielectric Materials for Multilayer Devices
In the present work, LTCC NiCuZn, and dielectric powers (BCMZS and BT) were selected for preparation of high-μ, high-k and high-Q tapes. It describes in detail the tape casting process utilizing organic casting vehicle. The properties of tapes before and after sintering were characterized, including surface roughness, shrinkage and microstructures. The NiCuZn was co-fired with BT or BCMZS to prepare multilayer structures. A serial of LTCC EMI filters were developed with the NiCuZn and BT.
