The Effects of Calcium Gluconate on the Milling Efficiency and Magnetic Properties of Strontium Ferrite
Calcium gluconate as a dispersant was added in the milling of barium ferrite slurry. The effects of calcium gluconate on the milling efficiency and properties of strontium ferrite were studied. The results indicated that the efficiency of milling can be greatly improved by adding 0.4 wt% calcium gluconate, at the same time, strontium ferrite density and remanence were also greatly increased. When the addition was 0.8 wt%, intrinsic coercivity achieved the maximum value.
