Surface Modification of Nanosized MnZn Ferrite Powders
Surface modification of nanosized MnZn ferrite powders via coating were studied by coprecipitation boiled circumfluence method, in which the different amount of citric acid were respectively added into MnZn ferrite solution before and after boiling circumfluence. The morphology, microstructure and magnetic properties were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), respectively. The results showed that the nanosized MnZn ferrite powders coating with citric acid had cubic spinel structure. The coating MnZn ferrite powders before boiling circumfluence were dispersed well compared with those after boiling circumfluence, while the coating MnZn ferrite powders after boiling circumfluence had better magnetic properties than those before boiling circumfluence. The better magnetic property sample was prepared when the content of citric acid was 4.76wt%.
