The Microstructure and Magnetic Properties of Co1-xZnxFe2O4 Films

CO1-xZnxFe204(x=0.0-0.3) nanocrystalline ferrite films have been synthesized by the sol-gel process. The microstructure and magnetic properties have been measured and analyzed by X-ray diffractometer,vibrating sample magnetometer, and physics property measurement system. The results reveal that all samples have a spinel single-phase. The lattice constants increase a bit with increasing Zn2+ content. The magnetic properties are influenced strongly by Zn2+ content. The measurements at high temperature show that the Curie temperature decreases from 530℃ to 341.6 ℃ while Zn2+ content increases from 0.0 to 0.3. ZFC and FC measurements show that the blocking temperature Tb decreases with increasing x.
