Study of Signal and Noise in GMR Sensors with Spin Valve Configuration

This article is mainly focus on GMR devices response to the outside magnetic field, including the influence on noise power spectral and magnetoresistance effect. Besides, interracial exchange coupling effects have also been simulated and a gradient in the exchange field has been found. Furthermore, noise power and magnetoresistance decrease slightly when the bias field increases, which indicates that devices noise and magnetoresistance effect may have the similar source. Through studying the origins of the two, we propose that spin transfer torque effect contributes a lot to the noise.
