Study on Zn(Ⅱ)adsorption from queous solution onto graft copolymer of crosslinked starch/acrylonitrile(CLSAGCP)
In this research,Graft copolymer of cross-linked starch/acrylonitrile(CLSAGCP)was utilized as adsorbent for the removal of Zn(II)ions from aqueous solution.Adsorption experiment were conducted under various conditions,I.e,initial concentration, temperature, and pH.The result showed that the conditions of adsorption system was temperature 30℃,pH7,the equilibrium time of adsorption 60min,the maximum percentage removal of Zn(II)ions>98%.The adsorption capacity(QD)of CLSAGCP was 95.8mg/g at 30℃ and pH 7.Adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics of Zn(II)were consistent with Freundlich equation and Lagergen equation which is a pseudo-first-order rate expression respectively.Furthermore, the thermodynamic parameters,I.e,standard free energy(△Gθ),standard enthalpy(△Hθ)and standard entropy(△Sθ),of the adsorption process were calculated. The results obtained are discussed in detail.
