The simulation test of pollutants release from sediments of urban river

There are many factors influencing river water quality and the pollutants release from sediments is one of the major reasons of the water deterioration.A series of experiments about pollutants release from sediments were carried out.The results show that in aerobic environment most of the pollutants containing nitrogen are dissolved,while pollutants containing phosphoms and COD are mainly granule maRer.High temperature can remarkably accelerate the release of dissolved pollutants.The content of ammonia nitrogen at 25℃is 2-6.147mg/L.Higher than that at 10℃in static release experiment.However.The effect on the release of total phosphorus and COD are not so obvious.Disturbance has obvious effect on accelerating the release of granule pollutants.And the concentration of totad phosphorus in dynamic system is 0.78 times of that in static system at the same temperature.Dredging up the silt from the Suzhou Creek should avoid high temperature season,and the residual water should be isolated from dredged sediments as soon as possible.Most of the pollutants can be removed by adding floceulants,such as TP,TSS and COD erc.As ammonia content in residual water is beyond the standard.Intensified treatment must be applied.
