Municipal wastewater treatment using sequencing batch biofilm reactor(SBBR)
In order to improve the small and medium-sized point source pollution of control of the municipal wastewater treatment technology,a novel type of laboratory-scale sequencing batch biofilm reactor(SBBR)was developed,in which a acryl cylinder(diameter 70 mm,height 200 mm)was equipped, many fiber threads were fixed at the surface of the cylinder as the bacteria carrier After nearly 5 months of operation,it was found that the ammonia can be removed completely in 2 Cycs(17h),and the other parameters can achieve the wastewater discharged cfiterion. In the different initial and different DO COD experiments. Also,it ranged from 11%to 100%,when the DO concentration increased from 2 to 6 mg/L,while the nitrate and nitrite concentration was increased from 0.72 to 12.00 mg/L and 0.08 to 17.55 mg/L,respectively.Especially,the denitrafication is decreased at relatively higher DO concentration of 4mg/L or 6mg/L.HoweveL it was showed that the TN removal rate was higher at 4mg/L of DO than that at bOth 2 and 6 mg/L.So,the effects can match the traditional separated nitrification and(1enitrificafion tank.
