Water and wastewater treatment with advanced oxidation processes based on production of·OH:an overview
Advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)were one of the new advanced technologies used to wamr and wastewamr treatment.Including all of the AOPs.most production of them and most mechanisms of degradation or mineralization was the hydroxide radicals(·OH).In this review the applications of various AOPs,AOPs based on photo catalysis,electrical catalysis,Fenton reagentH2O2/Fe(II),ozomc processes and so on were collected and packed up according to the treatment of different pollutants such as organ halogens,organic pesticides,surfactants,coloring matters,and other organics compounds.The advantages and disadvantages of these AOPs have also been discussed.
