Synthesis of thermosensitive PCL-g-PNIPAAm copolymer and Micellar Characterization

With the rapid developments of material science and cell molecular biology, biodegradable polymeric materials are becoming more and more important roles in biomedical applications. Furthermore, intelligent micelles, which are sensitive to temperature, pH, and ionic strength, have attracted great interest and research in recent years due to their efficiently applications in drugs delivery system. The objective of this thesis is to synthesize and characterize a novel biodegradable and thermosensitive poly(ε-caprolactone) material, which is further used for micelles preparation.. Main contents are involved in two parts below.
