Cure Kinetics and Thermal Stability of Novel Tetra (Phenylethynyl)Silane Resin
In recent years, a number of organosilicon-acetylenic hybrid polymers composed by -SiR2-CC (R=alkyl, aryl) have been developed and previous work in our group has focused on approach to synthesize methyl-di(phenylethynyl)silane(MDPES) and methyl-tri(phenylethynyl)silane(MTPES) and thermosets exhibit excellent thermal properties and TGA curves show the temperature of 5% weight loss (Td5) in nitrogen was 615 ℃ and 695℃ for MDPES and MTPES, respectively. In this paper, we focus on the cure reaction, cure kineticsand thermal stability of novel tetra (phenylethynyl) silane (TPES) resin which may be exploited to design newmolecular structure and improve the property of the material.
