Enabling Interoperable Mobile Learning:Evaluation results from the use of SMILE PDA Learning Design Player
During the last years m-learning has attracted theattention of technology-enhanced learning communitymainly as a side effect of the growth of the mobilecommunications industry. While the educational added-value of m-learning is under investigation, technological efforts are much needed to align m-learning technologies with the current state-of-the-art specifications in TeL.Within this context, in this paper, we present initial evaluation results from the use of the SMILE PDALearning Design Player, an open source softwareimplementation for executing 1MS Learning Designactivities via mobile devices.
