Farmers Cooperative Organization in Rural China: Historic Review and Prospect Forecast

摘要：

Cooperative is the best form to help farmers to enter into market. Since the middle period of 1980s, some cooperative economic organizations have developed in China like bamboo shoots after a spring rain on the land earth. They play an important role on raising peasants organization extent and competitiveness, reducing purchase cost and transaction cost, increasing peasants income, and raising the level of industrialization of agricultural management as well. This paper focuses on the main historic review of farmers cooperative organization in China, and analyses the role of farmers specialized cooperatives in agro-industrial chains, in order to pursue the trends of cooperative economy in rural China.
