Assessment of Regional Oil Depot Fire Risk Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

The purpose of this study is to provide a scientific basis for estimating the probability of an oil depot fire hazard. On the basis oftbe status of the oil fires, adopting the expert consulting system, this paper designs an assessment method ofoil depot fire risk from four aspects, namely, danger ofoil tank, danger ofoil, fire safety management and environment. The analytic hierarchy process was adopted to confirm the index weight. Aiming at the fuzziness of evaluation indexes, this paper establishes fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. It was proposed that a depot was divided into a number of relatively independent regional components. The oil depot fire risk can be determined by the fire risk assessment of the each regional component. This model was exemplified in an oil depot. The results show that the assessment methodology of regional oil depot fire risk is reasonable, effective and feasible.
