Analysis on Sky-high Compensation of Financial Executives
Executive compensation is regarded as an effective incentive system to solve principal-agent problem and to maximize shareholder value.Executive compensation depends on all kinds of factors,both subjective and objective factors.This article analyzes reasonable factors for sky-high compensation in four aspects:corporate performance,supply and demand of financial talents,the effectiveness of payment incendve and the implementation of stock equity.Besides that,I also analyze the unreasonable factors and givesome advice for improvement.
