New Settlement Calculation Method of Composite Foundation

摘要：

In the current settlement calculation methods of composite foundation, there are considerable discrepancies between calculating data and measuring data. Based on Mindlins displacement formula, a simple and practical approach is presented for the calculation of settlement of underlying stratum of the reinforced area of composite foundation. According to this method, the calculated result agrees well with measured data.
