Several Problems of Piles and Geosynthetic Combined Treatment of Soft Foundation

摘要：

Piles and geosynthetic combined treatment of soft foundation is redefined as the concepts of double-direction composite foundation and Pile-Supported Reinforced Embankments based on the different positions of the geosynthetic, the latter is pile composite foundation, and the difference on bearing characteristic of this two construction is analyzed. The influence on pile-soil stress ratio by geosynthetic reinforcement cushion under flexible soil foundation is discussed. It is proposed that numerical simulation may be a useful method for further study on the interaction of piles, geosynthetic and soil.
