Spatial-Temporal Changes of Soil Erosion at County Level based on Digital Elevation Model (DEM)

摘要：

Taking TM image, digital elevation model (DEM), soil database as information sources,combined with field survey, using remote sensing (RS), geographic information system (GIS) technologies, this paper analyzed the soil erosion changes during 1987 to 2003 the two periods of mountainous regions of Qixia County, based on universal soil loss equation (USLE), then performed analysis of soil erosion spatial distribution and ecological environment. Finally some water and soil conservation, and environment control measures were brought forward according to the soil erosion condition of research area.
