Calculation of Consumption of Soil Water Resources on Farmland

摘要：

Based on the conception of soil water resources and the composing of crop water consumption and water balance theory on farmland, a model used for calculating the consumption of soil water resources on farmland was established. The results of the model can supply scientific basis for the evaluating and utilizing of soil water resources, and for regulating the consumption of soil water resources indirectly by irrigation. The model was applied in an area in west Hebei. The soil water resources consumption during the growing periods of winter wheat in the area was calculated. The results showed that it occupied 72.6％ of the whole soil water resources in that area equaled 6.78×107m3.There is a certain potential in the exploiture of local soil water resources.
