Study on Applicability of 3 Infiltration Models in the West Semiarid Region of Heilongjiang Province
The experiment of infiltration characteristics of soil water was conducted by means of artificial rainfall in 2006 in Gannan county Heilongjiang province which is located in semiarid region -the bases of The Chinese National High Technology Research and Development Program experiment and the Chinese grain production. The studies were focused on (1) the infiltration regularity in the region under raining condition; (2) theoretical analysis of the structures of Kostiakov, Horton and Philip models; (3) simulation for 25 rainfalls with different intensities by the 3 models. Results indicated whether or not the infiltration models would be applicable to the region and which is more accurate for infiltration simulation; moreover, the theoretical analysis result that Kostiakov model could be used under the condition of vertical infiltration was negated in the region according to the simulation.
