An Input-Output Analysis of Impacts of Large Water Conservancy Projects on Gross Output —Take Yangtze Dike Project as an Example
Large water conservancy projects always have great impacts on the social economy.However,qualitative study,rather than quantitative study,is often used in the economic impact assessment of these projects in the past.This paper establishes an input-output model on the basis of the input-output theory to quantitatively research the degree of influence that large water conservancy projects bring to social economy.Next,necessary adjustments are made to the Input-Output Table to satisfy the study of economic influence in such projects.In the end,empirical analysis of impact Yangtze dike project on Gross Output of Hubei Province is used as an example to show how the input-output model woks.
