The Integrated Methodology of Rough Set Theory and Neural Network for Competitiveness Assessment on Construction Business
This paper proposes a hybrid intelligent system that evaluate the competitiveness of the construction business based on the past business performance data,combining rough set approach and neural network.First,we can get reduced information table,which implies that the number of evaluation criteria is reduced with no information loss through rough set approach.And then,this reduced information is used to train neural network to infer appropriate parameters.The effectiveness of our methodology was verified by experiments comparing neural network approach with our hybrid approach.For the experiment and the validation,the basic data of 20 construction firms were selected.
