The Status Quo and Prospect of Shanghai and Hong Kong As International Financial Centers

摘要：

Based orr analysis the status quo of both Shanghai and Hong Kong financial markets,the paper compares the qualifications,circumstances and scales of financial market as well as potential for further development of Shanghai and Hong Kong as international financial centers.As mentioned in the paper,nowadays,Hong Kong is comparatively more mature as an international financial center,while Shanghai has established its status as the national financial center and possesses the advantages of becoming an international one.This paper considers that during the development of international financial centers,Shanghai and Hong Kong should strengthen their cooperation;carry through conformity designedly,develop together in the aspects of function orientation,action scope,market feature and so on,and take full advantage of each others preponderances,in order to accelerate the long-term mutual development of the two regions international financial centers.
