A Research on the Uncertainty of Shipping Supply Chain
As a sub chain,shipping supply chain not only contains products flow,but also includes service flow as well,and it plays a key role in international trade and global logistics.This paper puts forward the new concept of Shipping supply chain by combining the characteristics of shipping industry with the supply chain management.In particular,it explores the existence of the uncertainty in Shipping supply chain.Moreover,the fundamental causes of uncertainty in shipping supply chain have been analyzed.Finally,according to the quantifying model on the uncertainty in shipping supply chain,the practical solutions and suggestions for reducing the uncertainty in shipping supply chain have been given out.
