Agricultural Trade Liberalization and the Alleviation of Rural-Urban Tension in Developing Countries: In the Case of China

Agricultural trade liberalization affects rural-urban tension in developing countries.This paper analyses the impact of trade liberalization on rural-urban tension though model induction ,and estimates some parameters in the model to derive the exact magnitude of the impact.The result strongly supports trade liberalization for the sake of a balanced rural-urban development.The trade liberalization effect on alleviating the rural-urban tension actually has great potential.,and the greater the world prices distortions are corrected,the better results such efforts will result in.Under the distortion of agricultural trade,developing countries should be discrete when opening up to the international market
