Discussion on Teaching Methods of College Specialized English

摘要：

Specialized English course is a course that gaining specialized information by reading Specialized English documents. It is necessary for curriculum establishment of every major in colleges and universities, and is also the approach training the 21 centurys inter-disciplinary talent. However, for many years there are some problems such as the teaching pattern is inflexible, and educational model is stodgy. In view of these, the essay has discussed the university Specialized English teaching method reform and proposed some methods——Scene teaching method, Paticipatory teaching method, Case teaching method, Activity teaching method, etc., and has set forth their principle and usage in detail.
