Research on the Relationship Between Diversification and Divisionalization
Diversification and Divisionalization have always been the focus of strategic management and the mainstream of economics and managements literature.There are the key determinants of organizations performance.Based on the research on diversification and divisionalization,this paper has reviewed the studies of this topic domestics and overseas and summarized the new trend of diversification and divisionalization.From the literatures on this topic,we can see that un-related diversification or over diversification is not fit for the development of companies nowadays.And related diversification and refocusing become the most suitable strategy,but these strategies need the support of multidivisional structure.
