An Empirical Research on Industrial Agglomeration Level Measurement and Industrial Cluster Identification

摘要：

this paper used the industrial agglomeration EG index to measure agglomeration level of Chinese 19 manufacturing industries from 1993 to 2005,simultaneously joined two indexes of CRn and Standardized Location Quotient to indentify which location the most industrial clusters located at.Main conclusion: most industries had very high agglomeration level which is growing fast as a whole,few industries had degressive agglomeration level but the decrease was small Manufacture of Medicines etc;most industrial clusters located along the coast of southeast china,specially,Zhujiang delta,Changjiang delta as well as Bohai area.
