A Typology of Enterprise Innovation Network Nodes in Manufacturing Clusters

摘要：

This paper introduces the research ideas of the typology of plants in global networks of multinational companies and uses the network analysis as a methodology to study typology of enterprises in the manufacturing clusters,focusing primarily on intangible knowledge network,and secondarily on physical,logistic network.The enterprises nodes in manufacturing clusters are classified into three categories,according to the knowledge flows.The paper explores on the characteristics of various enterprises types,analysis their different strategic role and future perspective.The conclusions are useful for the scholar studying the architecture of knowledge networks,as well as the policy makers.
