Technological Innovation and Analysis of Market Structure

摘要：

This thesis tries to analyze the influence of market structure on technological innovation,adopting methods of empirical analysis and normative analysis. It also gives the example of American telecommunication industry to prove that technological innovation has counter function on the market structure. It tries to show that both the capability and driven power of technological innovation in different market structures cannot be strong. Therefore, the market structure that exists between monopoly and competition will be beneficial to the technological innovation. In the end, I put forward some suggestions to the development of market structure.
