On Contribution from High Education and Further Improvement when Economy Booming in Henan Province

摘要：

With the influence of education to economic growth becoming stronger and stronger, it is important to discuss the ways of improving educations contribution to economic growth. This paper calculates the contribution rate of higher education to the economic growth of Henan province between years of 1990 -2005 and makes the correlated analysis. The study indicates comparing with other regions in China and developed countries, higher education contribution of Henan to the economic growth is very low. Then, this paper goes on to put forward the strategies to improve the contribution of higher education to economic growth of Henan.
