Research on Informal Finance in Rural Area of China
Recently, rural finance has become the bottle-neckproblem that prevents the solution of Agricultural issues. Many scholars are paying attention to the problem of breaking the bottle-neck restrains.This paper points out the important feature of the rural financial system is duality of finance that is the coexistance of formal finance and informal finance in rural areas.Compared with formal finance, the informal finance in rural area has obvious superiority, and partly resolved the problem of capital scarcity that caused by the insufficient supply of formal finance. But the existence of exorbitant usury has some impact on the development of rural economy and the stabilization of society. This paper indicates that the informal finance in rural area should be accepted and be operated in an ordered framework. Furthermore, the informal finance in rural area should be under the supervision of the government financial management institution.
