STUDY ON TECHNICAL CONDITION OF OUT-OF-GAUGE GOODS TRANSPORT BY RAILWAY
Weather the technical condition of out-of-gauge goods transport by railway is rational or not will affectboth the safety and the capacity of railway transportation. The technical condition in current Regulations on Transport of Railway Out-of-gauge Goods and Over-load Goods is based on regulations of the former Soviet in 1950s andlack of foundation. With the increase of speed of train, the current technical condition of out-of-gauge goods transport by railway cannot guarantee the safety of freight transport. Factors influencing on the technical condition ofout-of-gauge goods transport by railway are analyzed. Vehicles are taken as example and calculated models of lateraloffset of vehicles are put forward with computer simulation in the paper. Also the paper designs the calculated condition of lateral offset and calculates the lateral offset caused by rolling-swaying vibration of the vehicle. Based on theresults, the paper puts forward the scientific and rational technical condition of out-of-gauge goods transport by railway theoretically.
