DESIGN OF THE TRAFFIC DATA MARKUP LANGUAGE IN REAL TIME VEHICLE DISPATCH SYSTEM BASED ON XML
In order to avoid traffic congestion and decrease the traveling time of vehicles, It is very important toadjust vehicle routing in real time according to the road traffic condition for the vehicle dispatch scheduling systemrealizing the just in time service. At present, there are amount of real time or non-real time traffic data produced byintelligent traffic system in China, but the data format differ in thousands ways and storages in different specialformat, so those valuable traffic data can not or difficult be used by the vehicle dispatch system. To solve thisproblem, this paper discusses the advantages of eXtensible Markup Language in data exchange side, and putsforward the design flow of traffic data describing language from the point of data exchange standardization. Thevehicle dispatch system-traffic data markup language, which can be used to identically describe, pack, store andconvey traffic data, is brought forward based on XML. The paper also gives the definition, data architecture andXML schema of vehicle dispatch system-traffic data markup language. At last, the paper applies the language in citycommercial vehicle dispatch system platform.
