OPTIMAL MODEL AND ALGORITHM FOR SUPPLY CHAIN DESIGN CONSIDERING SERVICE LEVEL
A supply chain design problem involving a single supplier and multiple retailers ana associated with eachretailer is some stochastic demand was analyzed in the paper. The objective of optimization was to minimize the totalsystem cost including inventory cost and lotion cost and transportation cost under the given service level. The economic order quantity (EOQ) strategy was selected as the inventory control method, based on which the non-linearinventory cost expression was deduced. So a non-linear mixed integer model is presented to incorporate inventorycontrol decisions into a typical facility location model considering the stochastic demand, which are used to solve thesupply chain design problem. A improved simulated annealing algorithm is developed for the model. Numerical application denotes the convergence of algorithm is rapidly, the result is rational and could reflect the fact, so themethod provides scientific guidance for the supply chain design problem.
