Synthesis and Properties of Organosoluble Polyfluorinated Polyimides

Aromatic polyimides are well known as high-performance polymeric materials for their excellent thermal stability, favorable dielectric properties and chemical resistance, thus they have found diverse applications in the fields of microelectronics and aerospace.However, many of the conventional polyimides have been required to improve as the developing trends of miniaturization of electronic pans, the high assembly density, and the high signal propagation speed. As is well known, the incorporation of fluorinated groups into polymers has been one of the most attractive methods to develop polyimides with good combined properties, such as high solubility,high transparency, low dielectric constant and dissipation factor, and in most cases, high thermal and thermal-oxidative stabilities.
