Fabrication of High Resolutien Multi-level Microstructures by Capillary Force Lithography Using Modified Poly (dimethylsiloxane) Stamps
Surfaces with multilevel features of microscopic or nanoscopic heights is of great importance for both fundamental researches and applications. There are many opportunities that might be realized by decorated function materials with multilevel structures. The most obvious examples are in nanotechnology, biotechnology and information technology. Surfaces with multilevel features provide a basis for nano and microfluidic devices,μTAS systems, nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS), monolithic microwave integrated circuits, and optical components. Biomimetic surfaces, such as super-hydrophobic lotus-leaf-like surfaces and dry adhesive based on gecko foot-hair micro/nano-Structures, have been achieved by fabrication of multilevel microstructure on surface of materials. And they also are be used as substrates for cell alignment, and for the control of cellular motility.
