Polarized Emission of Lanthanide Complexes in the Polymer film
Lanthanide (Ⅲ) complexes with organic chromophore show if-emissions via the intramolecular energy transfer, when the ligand was excited by the UV light. Recently, we could explain the energy transfer pathway of the Pr(Ⅲ) complexes quantitatively by using the picosecond time resolved emission spectra. In the present study, the stretched polymer film technique is applied to modify the ff emission of the lanthanide complex. Thus, the surface morphology and the chemical property are useful to construct the ultra-thin emission film with the polarization phenomena.
