Adjustability of Air Volume in Drivage Face in Coal Mines

Due to the shortage for research of adjustment of air volume in drivage face based on ventilation network, adjustability concept of air volume in drivage face is proposed by totally analyzing the adjustable capability of local fan, air distribution for fan and whole ventilation network. Drivage roadway is considered as a network branch in ventilation network figure, criterion formula for airflow control in drivage roadway is deduced based on the rule of ventilation voltage balance, and the condition that improving adjustable arrange of air volume of local fan without leading to circle air is obtained. Adjustment of air volume is analyzed using loop matrix of ventilation network, quantitative equations of air volume increasing in drivage face is derived, and practical example is given to verify the practicability of the equations.
