Research on Using Second-Harmonic Examination Technology to Gain Density of Gas in Coal Mine
The gas explosion is the main accident in coal mine. Aiming at the flaws of the former chemistry examination method, it has proposed that using the tunable diode laser absorption spectrum technology (TDLAS) to survey the gas in coal mine. The experimental system used near-infrared tunable DFB laser to be the source, and used the lead-sulphide infrared detector to survey gas. Signal is transmitted by the fiber. It used wavelength modulation and the second-harmonic examination, and studied the absorption spectrum of R (3) branch rotational transition line of the 2v3 vibration band near 1653.72nm. The research indicated that the examination limit of this system is lower than 0.09%. This technology has prominent characteristics: high sensitivity, strong selectivity, quick response and so on. There is fiber only and no charged parts in the field, so it can satisfy the requests of coal mine gas safety examination. This has provided one brand-new method for density monitoring of the coal mine gas.
