Synthesis and Properties of Polyimides Derived from 2,5-Bis(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl diphenylphosphine
Polyimides (PIs) containing phenylphosphine oxide (PPO) group have attracted much attention owing to their good combined properties, including good atomic oxygen (AO) resistance in low earth orbit (LEO), good adhesion to various substrates in microelectronic fabrication,and excellent flame-retardancy in extreme environments.Meanwhile, fluoro-containing PIs represent another system of high performance polymers for high-tech applications, especially in advance optical fields.Thus, it would be an interesting and instructive effort to combine PPO and fluoro substituents into the molecular structures of PIs so as to develop novel optical materials. Systematic work have not been performed in the literature up to now.
