Preparation of SiO2 Coated Cenosphere and Characterization of the Composite Powder

摘要：

An attempt was made to prepare the Si02/cenosphere composite，for which a dense layer of Si02 particles were successfully coated on the surface of cenospheres by chemical precipitation tecbinique．Surface morphology was observed under SEM．and the exterior constitution was examined through EDX．The result indicated that the amount of Si02 particles coating on cenospheres decreased with the increasing pH value and the declining reaction temperature and the particle size reduced as reaction temperature fell down．
