Study on Application of D30
The experimental study on application of D6114ZLQB turbocharged and cold diesel engine fueled with dimethylEther and diesel,including the properties of power and economy,and exhaust emission characteristics.According to theproperties of D30(the ratio of DME and diesel in the mass:3 to 7)blended fuel,designing the fuel supply system ofdiesel engine,optimizing parameters of fuel pump and injector,operation on bench test of the engine.The testing resultspresent that the power Of D30 blended fuel be no less than the original diesel engine’S;the fuel economy be enhancedat the high speed and load;NOX emission decline obviously at the low speed and load,but have no difference at thehigh speed and load;HC emission slightly decrease and CO emission have no apparent change;PM emission largelydecline at all the whole revolution.The results show that turbocharged and cold diesel engine fueled with dimethylEther and diesel possess superior performance at the declining exhaust emission.
