Influence of Adsorption Process on Pt/C Catalysts
Catalysts were prepared under different temperature, value of pH, buffer solution and solvents in order to investigate adsorption factors of platinum catalyst preparation. The apparent structures of catalysts were characterized by scanning electron microscope and catalytic activities were evaluated through hydrogenation of o-chloronitrobenzene. The results showed the system of distilled water as solvent and sodium acetate as buffer agent was in favor of adsorption of chloroplatinic acid on activated carbon under low temperature and pH, and high catalytic activity of catalysts prepared was obtained.
