Two Different Phenomena and Mechanisms of PdCI24- in Some Chemical Reactions

Two different experimental phenomena of PdCl24-in some chemical reactions, for example,Na2S precipitation, Cu cementation, solvent extraction and ion exchange were observed, which are respect to the blending-ways of reactants and the HCI concentration. Those different phenomena suggest that two different mechanisms occurred during the reactions. The results show that PdCI24-have the lowest thermodynamics stability and the highest kinetics activity in all six platinum group metal chloride complexes, which results in PdCI24-easily to be hydrated and different complex ions present in the solutions, therefore, PdCI24-reacts according to the different reaction mechanisms.
